A Limitation area is a feature which can direct the Water Overlay to restrict its calculations to specific locations. When the LIMIT_AREA Attribute of the Overlay is set to the appropriate value, calculations only occur in the locations indicated by the Areas with a LIMIT_AREA Attribute.

Notes

  • Limitation areas only determine the extent of the calculations when the LIMIT_AREA Attribute of the Overlay is set to the appropriate value. Otherwise, the Limitation areas do not affect any facet of the calculation.
