The new Heat Stress Overlay module is in accordance with the 2019 Heat DPRA Report.

We are working on a new heat module in accordance to the new Dutch DPRA standards. This module is still under construction, as is the documentation, however a Beta version of the module is available on the Preview server for our partners.

Several overlays with data that influence heat are available :
* DPRA Heat stress module. This module is more detailed and based on the 2019 Heat DPRA Report. It can generate multiple Heat Overlay result types as child overlays;
* The PET map (real feel temperature, wind chill). In accordance to the DPRA guideline: https://ruimtelijkeadaptatie.nl/stresstest/bijsluiter/hitte/pet-hittekaart/
* UNESCO Heat stress module. This module generates a simple heat stress overlay which visualizes the Relative Physiological equivalent temperature result type. It uses a different (and smaller) set of formula's to calculate Heat differences. It does not calculate the expected Physiological Equivalent Temperature.
* Foliage (map with tree heights)
* Shade
* Average Sky View
*      Sky view (percentage sky view in relation to total view),
* UHI (Urban heat island effect)
*      Temperature of atmosphere
* Vegetation average
* Vegetation (yes/no))
* Bowen ratio (evaporation ratio)
* Wind speed

Example of the DPRA heat stress overlay

The new Heat Stress Overlay module is in accordance with the 2019 DPRA Heat stress report.

Modules

In order to configure a Heat Stress Overlay, a module has to be selected. The module can be configured by opening the Heat Overlay Wizard.
