We are working on a new heat module in accordance the new Dutch DPRA standards. This module is still under construction, as is the documentation, however a Beta version of the module is available on the Preview server for our partners.
Models
One of two calculation modules can be selected for overlay:
- Unesco Heat stress module. This module generates a simple heat stress overlay which visualizes the PET Relative result type.
- DPRA Heat stress module. This module is based on the new Dutch DPRA standards. It can output all available result types;
Heat is calculated in accordance to the Dutch standard for heat stress: https://ruimtelijkeadaptatie.nl/stresstest/bijsluiter/hitte/ For more detailed implementation we used RIVM-documentation: https://www.rivm.nl/bibliotheek/rapporten/2019-0008.pdf
Configuration
For the model attributes, see Heat model attributes.
Results
With a Heat Overlay, one can generate different kinds of results. For further information about these outcomes, see result types.
Notes
- The Heat overlay in the Climate Game uses the UNESCO Heat stress model.
