Net Type

Net Type in relation to Net Function.

Each network is related to a predefined resource type. This is known as the net type. A network transports resources from supply to demand elements. Networks of different types are independent entities. The following network types are currently available:

• ELECTRICITY
• GAS
• HEAT
• INTERNET
• SEWER

Net Functions and Net Loads both reference a Net Type. Net Lines are part of the Net Type based on their Net Function. Net Clusters and Net Nodes relate to other Net items (Net Loads and Net Lines), and can therefore be part of multiple Net Types.
