SLPK files are generally associated with 3D data. When using SLPK files for 3D Visualization or calculations, you can also import the same file as 2D Items, such as Areas, Neighborhoods, and Terrains.
How to import a SLPK file for 2D spatial data:
- Open the Geo data wizard
- As import type, choose Areas, Neighborhoods, Terrains, or Zones.
- Choose as import method the I3S SLPK file option.
- In the Model Parameters step, select any height option (it will be ignored). Minimal triangle size usually requires no adjustment.
- Select a local file or from the GeoShare. Once the file has been accepted, continue to the next step.
- In the View Features step, verify that features are visible both visually and under Feature Details.
- Continue stepping through the Geo data wizard depending on the chosen type in step 1.
