A TerrainSpatial is a component of a Measure that spatially applies a Terrain Type with a modification type. This erases previously placed surface buildings and overrides surface terrains. The Measure Edit Type determines what way the Digital Terrain Model is adjusted.
Measure Edit Type
The following Measure Edit Types are supported:
- FLATTEN: Flattens land; Useful to remove Buildings, including roads, fields and trees.
- WATER: Lowers land; Should be the default option when placing water.
- RAISE: Raises land; An alternative to levees.
Measure Buildings
Buildings planned by a Measure can be placed on top op TerrainSpatials, as long as their placement type supports it. In other words, a land building can be placed on a flatten spatial as long as the terrain is not a Water terrain.
Notes
- You can add more than one TerrainSpatial to a measure.
