How to create a traffic density Grid Overlay

The Traffic Density Overlay is not a Grid Overlay. To make the traffic density available as a Grid Overlay, a Combo Overlay must be configured to obtain and offer up all the traffic information.

Editor → Current Situation (Ribbon tab) → Overlays (Ribbon bar)
How to create a traffic density Grid Overlay:
  1. Create an Average Overlay with the following configuration:
    Averaging distance: 0
    Attribute: NUM_CARS
  2. Create an Average Overlay with the following configuration:
    Averaging distance: 0
    Attribute: NUM_BUSES
  3. Create an Average Overlay with the following configuration:
    Averaging distance: 0
    Attribute: NUM_TRUCKS
  4. Create an Average Overlay with the following configuration:
    Averaging distance: 0
    Attribute: NUM_VANS
  5. Create a Combo Overlay with the following configuration:
    Inputs A through D: The created Average Overlays
    Formula: ADD(A,B,C,D)
