Adding the Finance overview

Every stakeholder has a start budget, which can be used during a session. There are various ways to get an insight into the financial status and the income and expenses of a stakeholder during a session.

Accessing the Finance View

The budget can be inspected during a session by opening the finance view. This is a Special Option that accessed via the Action Menu.

If this action is not present in any Action Menu available to your Stakeholder, you can add it to a menu while editing the project:

Editor → Future Design (Ribbon tab) → Actions (Ribbon bar)

The financial view can be added to a stakeholder by first selecting an existing Action Menu and subsequently selecting finance view in the Special Options dropdown menu.

The Budget (Indicator) provides insight into the cost balance of a stakeholder and also provides a button to open the financial view panel.

Notes

  • This page refers to Budget as the total of income and cost, not to be confused with the Budget (Indicator), an indicator assessing financial targets and income and expenses of a stakeholder.
