Buildings with any water storage are known as water storage buildings.

Buildings capable of storing water can store surface water without allowing it to flow back into the rest of the model. Water stored in buildings can not flow out or evaporate away and will remain there until the end of the simulation. When the building's capacity for water storage is reached, no more water can be stored in it.
