Future Design represents the planned situation of your project. Its counterpart is the Current Situation.

Map Type

The Future design is linked to the API Map Type MAQUETTE. Making changes the current situation requires the Editor, while changing the Future Design requires action taken in a Single, multi or Test Run session. Scenarios can also automatically take actions when a Test Run is activated for them.

Items can be present in both map types at the same time. This is the case when starting a single, multi or test-run session. After modifications, buildings appear in the planned situation if planned or upgraded, and in the current situation if removed or upgraded.

Viewer

Buttons in the Top bar of the viewer interface of the Tygron Client allows you to switch between the original and planned map type to inspect the differences visually.

Editor

In the Editor the Future design tab is the second of the four ribbon tabs and is located in the top part of the editor. The Future design tab contains tools which relate to the planning stages of a project. Stakeholders can be configured and Measures and Actions can be added so that they can be implemented into the project. The project functionalities can also be tested with the test run option.
