Groundwater in the Tygron Platform is modeled in the form of a GeoTIFF.
Groundwater is only used when the GROUND WATER attribute of the Water Overlay is true, meaning the underground model is active.
The groundwater GeoTIFF will dictate the distance between the surface and the watertable. A greater value in the GeoTIFF will mean a lower watertable. If there is no groundwater GeoTIFF present, the water table is dictated by the WATER_LEVEL attribute of the water level area instead.
A number of groundwater GeoTIFFs are offered by default:
- NL_GHG_kk-nhi
- NL_GLG_kk-nhi
- NL_GVG_kk-nhi
