It is possible to preconfigure a Cinematic, for the expressed purpose of recording a video. After creating the Cinematic, an option is available to record it as a video. This will automatically start a recording and trigger the cinematic.

Editor → Tools (Ribbon tab) → Cinematics (Ribbon bar) → The Cinematic to edit (Left panel)
How to record a Cinematic as a video:
  1. Select the Cinematic to record.
  2. At the bottom of the right panel, click on "Render as HD Movie".
  3. Select the desired resolution and graphics quality.
  4. Ensure the output directory is set to the desired location.
  5. Set the image quality as desired.
  6. Set the framerate as desired.
  7. Click on 'Start Recording'

Notes

  • While recording, the system running the Tygron Client will most likely become less responsive. This is because the Tygron Client temporarily changes its rendering method from a best effort (in which frames may be dropped so that the software remains responsive) to highest quality (in which each individual frame is individually rendered in full). This is automatically reset when the recording is completed.
