How to add a breach with an level area to a Flooding Overlay manually:
- Make sure you already have a breach area defined. If not, check the other how-to's below.
- Add an Area to the project. This will be the breach input area.
- Draw the breach input area in the 3D visualization, in the location where the water from the breach should emerge (see tips below in gallery).
- Add an Attribute to the created Area, with the breach level area attribute name and a value of choice. The attribute will make it available to select. Make sure this area is not a breach area itself.
- Also give the area a name that is easy to identify.
- Open the Overlay's Flooding overlay wizard and continue to the step concerning Breach growth.
- For the breach level area, select the created level area.
- Click on show to verify this is the correct area.
- Continue with the wizard.
