Area based Buildings are Buildings for which their geometry is interpreted as a polygon, with their effects applied across their entire surface area.
Examples of point based buildings are the following hydraulic structures:
Icon | Name | Name |
---|---|---|
Drainage | Expedited and conditional flow from the underground to a surface waterway. | |
Inlet | Conditional flow from external area to inlet location. (If INLET_AREA is configured appropriately). |
The functioning of the building is applied on each grid cell which intersects with the building's polygon. Every such cell is treated as being entirely part of the building's function.
