How to use a Grid Overlay to change the elevation model

The elevation model can be an important part of many different calculations. A Grid Overlay can be used to compute and apply a specific elevation model.
How to change the elevation model based on the results of a Grid Overlay:
- Ensure your project has a Grid Overlay the result of which is the desired elevation model.
- Go to "Current Situation", hover over the "Terrain" option, and select "Select Elevation Grid Overlay".
- In the selection window, select the Grid Overlay to apply to the elevation model.
- Wait for the prompt to indicate the amount of elevation sectors which have updated.
- The elevation model has now been changed
Notes
- Changing the elevation model based on a Grid Overlay is a singular action. This action applies current Grid Overlay results to the elevation model. Subsequent overlay changes will not update automatically.
