UHI | °C | Date-Time | The calculated urban heat island effect. |
An urban heat island is an area which is warmer than surrounding areas due to human activity, specifically urbanized environments which retain and radiate heat.
Notes
- The calculated values which compose the urban heat island are not directly the actual temperature for a given location. Instead, they are an intermediate factor in the calculation of the physiological equivalent temperature.
