The elevation model can be an important part of many different calculations. Sometimes, the desired or proper elevation model can be computed through a Grid Overlay, after which the results of the Grid Overlay's calculation can be directly applied to the elevation model.

How to change the elevation model based on the results of a Grid Overlay:
  1. Ensure your project has a Grid Overlay the result of which is the desired elevation model.
  2. Go to "Current Situation", hover over the "Terrain" option, and select "Select Elevation Grid Overlay".
  3. In the selection window, select the Grid Overlay to apply to the elevation model.
  4. Wait for the prompt to indicate the amount of elevation sectors which have updated.
  5. The elevation model has now been changed
