For greater insight into collections of Grid Overlays, especially when there are many or when there are many dependencies between them, the Overlay Overview can be used to visually see a complete picture of how the Overlays relate to one another.
How to use the Overlay Overview:
- Hover over the "Recalculation icon", and click on "Overlay Overview" in the dropdown.
- Resize the window to a comfortable size for viewing the full flowchart.
- If necessary, zoom in using the scroll wheel.
- Take note of the colors of the Grid Overlays:
Blue blocks are active Grid Overlays.
Grey blocks are inactive Grid Overlays.
White blocks are derivatives of other, active Grid Overlays.
Red blocks are Grid Overlays which have encountered an error during calculation (or were cancelled). - Recalculate the Project.
- Notice that as Grid Overlays are recalculated, they are highlighted in the Overview.
