| Name | Prequel | Underlying data | Unit | Range | No data | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Foliage height | FOLIAGE_HEIGHT | Heat Stress Prequel | m | 0 to 100 | Clamped to range | Used for initializing the relative foliage heights. |
Notes
- Warning: The wind factor reduction is very susceptible to variation in foliage heights, leading to significantly higher PET values in forested areas. It is advised that this prequel is smoothed with an average setup with the max method for rasterization.
- The values in this prequel grid are clamped between 0m and 100m. NO_DATA values are not allowed, although negative values will result in a foliage height of 0.
- The foliage height is a relative height value in meters. Not the datum height.
