Sometimes, it is requested or desirable to allow Tygron employees to access your Project. Situations warranting this may include support questions, co-operative development endeavors, or the sharing of functionality. By default, a Project is not accessible for Tygron employees. Permission must explicitly be given before a Project's data can be accessed.

How to make a Project accessible for Tygron Support:
  1. Open the desired Project in the Editor.
  2. Open the File menu.
  3. In the File menu, find the Permissions section.
  4. Find the permission drowpdown labeled Tygron Support.
  5. To allow read-only access (the Project can be accessed, but not saved), set the permission to READ.
To allow write access (the Project can be accessed, edited, and saved), set the permission to WRITE.

Notes

  • After changing the permission, it is not necessary to save the Project. The permission is changed immediately. This is because the access rights are not part of the in-Project data, but part of the Project's meta data.
  • The permissions for a Project can also be changed by the Project's owner in the main menu, under the my account options.
  • A Domain Admin can set the permissions for the Project when it is owned by another user by first taking ownership of the Project from the Options → Projects screen in the main menu, and then settings the permissions of the Project. The owner can be re-set afterwards.
