===Program===
: Training is the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies as a result of the teaching of vocational or practical skills and knowledge that relate to specific useful competencies. Training has specific goals of improving one's capability, capacity, productivity and performance. It forms the core of apprenticeships and provides the backbone of content at institutes of technology (also known as technical colleges or polytechnics). In addition to the basic training required for a trade, occupation or profession, observers of the labor-market recognize as of 2008 the need to continue training beyond initial qualifications: to maintain, upgrade and update skills throughout working life. People within many professions and occupations may refer to this sort of training as professional development.

: To be able to use the Tygron Engine for spatial planning projects, it is highly recommended the user becomes trained in the use of this powerful tool. By taking this wiki as starting point, much information and knowledge can already be self tutored. This approach is mostly meant for students and people just starting with the use of the Tygron technology. To get feedback or answers on specific questions, the Tygron Forum (www.forum.tygron.com)is the dedicated place for such communications. Here the Tygron staff and community are more then willing to help any user with their questions or comments.

Quickstart training Tygron Platform

Users who wish to start their own projects using the Tygron Platform can sign up for a Quickstart training with their colleagues.

Program

In a start-up meeting we discuss your learning objectives and set the details of the program for the quickstart training day. Possible subjects, depending on your learning objectives, are:
  • How to build a 3D dynamic model?
  • How to add and export data?
  • How calculation models work in the Tygron Platform, including how to adjust or add your own.
After the training, you are able to apply the Tygron Platform for your own projects. You will have documentation and exercises available to you to make an effective start. You will gain insight into the Tygron Platform's possibilities and identify areas for further learning.
Target audience: max. 6 colleagues who are planning to work with projects in the Tygron Platform. There is no specific foreknowledge required, but attendance of at least one trainee with knowledge and experience in GIS is preferable.
Duration: 1 start-up meeting and 1 training day.
Location: Tygron office

Licence

In order to be able to join the training, you need a licence to the Tygron Platform.

Follow-up

After the Quickstart, users will be familiar with the core possibilities of the Tygron Platform. Tygron has a better understanding of your goals and how you wish to use the Tygron Platform. Together we can discuss the follow-up. The training is designed to enable users to work independently after completion. Documentation is available to support the use of the Tygron Platform. It is also possible that more training or 'Q&A/work sessions' are desired.
