Hardware

Tygron's products utilize gaming technology as their driving force, most notably the 3d visualisation. This technology does mean a computer must meet certain requirements to be able to run Tygron products.

  • We can advise NVIDIA Geforce GTX560 for desktop computers and NVIDIA Geforce GT540M for laptops (or better).

Software

You will need the latest version of Java installed, as well as the latest drivers for your graphics card. You will also need Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome as your browser, with both Java and Javascript enabled.

To check if your computer has the right software installed and is fit for the Tygron Engine, we developed a special application, the Tygron Hardware Test.

Tygron hardware test

This Tygron Hardware Test makes sure you can run Javascript and have the right version of Java installed.

Also it will check if your hardware meets the requirements and autodetect the optimal settings for the Tygron Engine.

When this test is performed you can choose to send the results to Tygron automatically. This is automatically done for scores of ‘LOW’ or ‘UNKNOWN’. Scores of ‘MEDIUM’ or ‘HIGH’ are recommended for a proper gaming experience.
