Areas with trees can more easily be created using parametric design than by drawing them manually.

How to create trees using parametric design:
  1. Determine the area where the trees should be present. This can be a large expanse of land, or a corridor between other buildings.
  2. Create a parametric design, configured with the Function appropraite for the desired trees.
  3. Draw the extent of the design over the desired area.
  4. Use the "road aligned" design type for corridors along roads, or "spaced" for all other situations.
  5. Verify that the generated selections look appropriate, and apply the design.

Notes

  • It is only possible to create a single type of Function at a time when using parametric designs. If a greater variation is desired, parts of the result can either be edited, or removed so another parametric design can be applied in the same location.
