To use your own Geo data, hosted in ArcGIS Online or Enterprise, in the Tygron Platform you can log in to your organizations ArcGIS online or your organizations ArcGIS Enterprise portal and import your data directly into the Tygron Platform. Read below for the steps.


How to login with you ArcGIS Online account

How to login with you ArcGIS Online account:

  1. Click on the Community tab and click on Sign in with ArcGIS
  2. In the new panel that pops up, choose Default ArcGIS Online and click on Continue to login
  3. Fill in your username and password
  4. If successful, the message logged in with account: <your accountname> will be displayed and the panel will be closed automatically. You are now logged in with your ArcGIS Login.
  5. To add your private or organization own data, see the how to below.

How to login with you ArcGIS Enterprise account

It is possible to login and access your apps from the ArcGIS Enterprise Account.

How to login with you ArcGIS Enterprise account:

  1. Click on the Community tab and click on Sign in with ArcGIS
  2. In the new panel that pops up, choose
  3. Fill in the URL of your portal and add the /sharing part to the url. Fill in the App ID of the registered app. See here on the ArcGIS documentation how to register your app:https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/latest/use/add-items.htm#REG_APP
  4. Fill in your Enterprise portal url username and password. If successful, the message logged in with account: <your accountname> will be displayed and the panel will be closed automatically. You are now logged in with your ArcGIS Login.

  1. Make sure your are logged in to either ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise. See above for the steps.
  2. Open the Geo Data Wizard and choose as what |type of data your data should be imported.
  3. Choose for the import method the Catalogue service.
  4. Select Catalogue service ArcGIS Online (also to access the Enterprise portal data).
  5. In step 1.2 you can browse through your Esri content, Esri organization content and Esri open data. Select the data you want to import and click Next. In the next step you can choose the layer you want to import. Proceed with the wizard.

Notes

  • If the dataset you want to import is not in the location of your project, the data can not be imported.
  • In step 1.2, datasets that are listed in ArcGIS with an extent which is not in your project location these datasets are not listed.
