Sometimes, it is requested or desirable to allow Tygron employees to access your GeoShare. Situations warranting this may include support questions, co-operative development endeavors, or the sharing of data and functionality. By default, the GeoShare is not accessible for Tygron employees. Permission must explicitly be given by a Domain Admin before a GeoShare can be accessed by Tygron Support
How to make the GeoShare accessible for Tygron Support:
- Log in as Domain Admin, into the Main Menu
- In the Main Menu, go to Options, and then Security Policy
- Find the "Support for GeoShare" Support Access checkbox, and ensure it's checked.
Notes
- After changing the permission, Tygron Support will have read access and write access to the entire GeoShare of your Domain. It is not possible to convey such permissions on a per-file or per-folder basis.
- In situations where only read access is required for specific files, it may be easier to share the url to that file instead.
