What is the Traffic Noise overlay?
The Traffic Noise overlay is an Overlay which displays the impact of traffic noise in different colors for the project area. These colors indicate traffic noise ranges from 0 dB to 75+ db. Based on traffic flow and distance a grid is calculated for the project area.
Traffic Noise ranges
Traffic noise polution is indicated in the following ranges:
- 0 - 50 dB
- 50 - 55 dB
- 55 - 60 dB
- 60 - 65 dB
- 65 - 70 dB
- 70 - 75 dB
- 75+ Db
Additional information displayed in hover panel
The hover panel gives the actual noise value for the selected location when the overlay is active.
