A Disclaimer is a notice which is used to indicate the limits in liability, intent, scope, or other aspects of a product or service. Project Templates in the Tygron Platform can be shared with other Users. Due to their complexity and reliance on specific geographical data or environmental assumptions, it may be necessary or legally imperative to inform users of these limits.
Notes
- The Project Disclaimer is displayed during the creation of a new Project, when a Template Project with a Project Disclaimer is selected for use.
- The Project Disclaimer is only displayed when creating a new Project via the Tygron Client. Using a Template Project with a Project Disclaimer programmatically via the API will not explicitly present the Project Disclaimer.
- The Project Disclaimer is part of the Project Metadata. This means that when changing the Project Disclaimer in the Editor it is changed immediately and does not rely on saving the Project. Changing the Project Disclaimer and then closing the Editor without saving will still result in a changed Project Disclaimer.
- Being Project Metadata also means the Project Disclaimer is not carried over to the new Project. If a Template Project A is used to create a Template Project B, which is then itself also turned into a Template Project, using Template Project B to create a new Project will not display a Project Disclaimer, unless one is explicitly set for B as well.
