The GEOMETRY_COLOR Attribute allows for specifying a single visualization color of a building. Removing this attribute restores the visualization back to either the colors defined by the 3D Custom Geometry, in case it has any, or to the color function values of that Building.

Specific Use Cases

  • Identify buildings by energy label
    • Give each building an energy label as attribute.
  • Identify trees with disease/ animal plague
    • Mark each infested tree with a suitable attribute.
  • Colorize 3D models that lack textures (I3S/ 3D BAG/ CityGML)
