Address
An address is a specific reference to the whereabouts and location of a construction, given to it and registered by the municipality. The set up of addresses is built on the assumption that buildings are fixed
Addresses in the Tygron Platform
In the Tygron Platform, an address can only refer to one construction in the 3D model, each construction is seen as a separate item in the software. The addresses used by the Tygron Platform in the Netherlands is automatically generated from the databases of the BAG and TOP10NL. These databases are holding both the registration of addresses and buildings in the Netherlands. When generating a construction from the BAG database, simultaneously the same building will also add a BAG_ID to its attributes.
Generic uses of address
Buildings in the Tygron Platform are three-dimensional polygon objects capable of holding a wide variety of attributes. Each construction is registered to the grid with only one grid address, this can, for example, be the range of addresses registered to the building. It therefore can be possible that multiple different addresses are registered to one building (e.g. a flat). In the attributes of a building, an overview of the different addresses can be found. The different addresses registered to a construction by the Tygron Platform are still adjustable after the generation of the 3D model.
